Anthony Hannaford works in a variety of mediums - pastel, oil, acrylics, watercolour and acrylic ink. His subjects are mainly landscapes and still life - in the UK and the Mediterranean countries. His use of colour and vibrancy comes from a love of the natural world and the influence of other painters -  Joaquim Mir and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida from Spain, Matisse and Raoul Dufy, the French post-Impressionist artists and the Scottish Colourists.

He has exhibited in galleries in Bath, London, Goring & Streatley and Majorca. He is a member of the Pastel Society and SOFAP.

Anthony lives in Fulham London with his wife and daughter. He runs a creative design business in Fulham, specialising in graphics, branding, publishing and website design. Despite his advancing years he insists on still playing and programming music.
